PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of securing a sufficient spring span of contact and being made compact in a card insertion/extraction direction.SOLUTION: Contacts 3, 3, ... are arranged at positions matching an evasion part 5 formed at a bottom plate part 221, and the contacts 3, 3, ... comprise one horizontal spring piece 31, 33 having one end fixed to one of mutually opposite inner edge parts of the evasion part 5; the other horizontal spring piece 34, 32 to which one end of the other inner edge part of the evasion part 5 is fixed and which is arranged at a distance in the card insertion/extraction direction from the one horizontal spring piece 31, 33; an arch-shaped elastic contact part 35 supported over between both the horizontal spring pieces for bridging in the card insertion/extraction direction; and a contact 36 formed integrally at a top part of the elastic contact part 35, the contacts 3, 3, ... being supported over mutually opposite inner edge parts 51, 52 of the evasion part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
