PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in inputting a character string.SOLUTION: A conversion apparatus includes: an input unit for inputting position information of a line of sight, on a screen, of a user; an acquisition unit which acquires a character string included in a predetermined range from a position indicated by the position information, out of character strings displayed on the screen; and a display control unit which displays a list of character strings corresponding to reading including a character input by the user, the character strings being stored in a storage unit in association with readings, as a conversion candidate for the input character. The display control unit controls display priority of a character string so as to be higher when the character string corresponds to one of character strings acquired by the acquisition unit, in the list of character strings corresponding to the reading, than when the character string does not correspond to any of the character strings acquired by the acquisition unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
