PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping plant that comprises a compact soundproof device while reducing the noise of a facility as a whole.SOLUTION: A pumping plant comprises a soundproof device 35 that reduces noise generated from a fan 30 for cooling a speed reducer 18. The soundproof device 35 comprises: a safety cover 36 that covers the fan 30 and a shaft coupling 25; and a resonator 37 that constitutes at least a portion of the safety cover 36. The resonator 37 has a structure that absorbs sound having a frequency determined from the rotational speed of the fan 30 and the number of blades of the fan 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
