PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion monitoring system for a conveyor belt, which enables an abrasion status of an arbitrary range of a cover rubber to be efficiently grasped with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A non-contact sensor 2 is arranged in an opposed manner on a surface of an upper cover rubber 10a. In regard to a predetermined belt-width-direction range of the upper cover rubber 10a of a traveling conveyor belt 10, a distance hx to the surface of the upper cover rubber 10a is detected by using the non-contact sensor 2, and an abrasion loss H of the upper cover rubber 10a is calculated by comparing this detection data hx and pre-stored reference data h with each other by an operation part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
