The present invention provides a method for encoding/decoding an image and a device therefor. Particularly, a method for encoding an image by an encoding device may comprise the steps of: dividing a quantized coefficient block into coefficient groups having a predetermined size; searching the quantized coefficient block for a first coefficient group which is the last coefficient group including a non-zero coefficient according to a predetermined inverse-scanning order; searching the first coefficient group for the last non-zero coefficient according to the inverse-scanning order; relocating the non-zero coefficient of the first coefficient group to a second coefficient group which is the preceding coefficient group of the last coefficient group according to the inverse-scanning order; and performing, by an encoder, entropy encoding according to a predetermined scanning order.
