PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method, a picture processing apparatus, and a determination system that have improved accuracy of determining an open/close state of a target person's eye.SOLUTION: A determination method for an eye's open/close state includes: a step S100 of irradiating a target person with pattern light including a plurality of dots; a step S102 of acquiring an imaged picture that is obtained by imaging the target person irradiated with the pattern light and has a plurality of frames; a step S103 of identifying a dot that is on each acquired imaged picture and satisfies an identification condition; and steps S106, S107 of determining an open/close state of the target person's eye on the basis of a variation with time in the number of identified dots in the plurality of frames.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
