PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus capable of supporting a protruding part of a component attached to a substrate in an appropriate state and capable of handling various components different in size and/or shape at little cost.SOLUTION: The component mounting apparatus has a mounting stage 35 which is provided with a component support means 90 for supporting a part protruding from the outer edge of the substrate 2 of a film-like component 3 mounted on the substrate 2. The mounting stage includes: a pair of arm parts 92 extends in a direction where the component 3 mounted on the substrate 2 protrudes from the outer edge of the substrate 2; and a sheet-like cross-bridge member 93 with both ends thereof detachably attached to the pair of arm part 92 for supporting, from the bottom, the part protruding from the substrate 2 of the component 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
