A pipe joint (10) has: a joint body section (30) which has on the outer peripheral side thereof a pipe body insertion space (21) into which a pipe body (20) is inserted; a water stop member (36A) which is disposed in a peripheral groove (34A) formed in the outer peripheral surface of the joint body section (30) and which stops water by being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the pipe body (20); and a communication section which is located at the upstream part of the peripheral groove (34A) with respect to the direction of insertion of the pipe body and which connects the peripheral groove (34A) and the pipe body insertion space (21). |
