Switchable socket

The socket has a support frame (10) for fastening in a flush box in an installation direction. A chassis (20) and contacts for voltage input lie behind the support frame. A circuit board (40) is arranged in the chassis and carries electrically controllable switching elements (R10) i.e. relays, and associated control electronics. The switching elements are arranged beside the chassis, so that the switching elements and/or the circuit board and the switching elements fill normative installation space.
