The gutter cleaning device comprises: a chassis plate 12; a fluid supply tube 100; a plough 60 and a nozzle 40. The chassis has a leading end and a longitudinal axis. The fluid supply terminates with the nozzle which includes an opening 48 that is disposed adjacent to the leading end of the chassis. The plough extends outwardly from the leading end and has a convex portion (part B, Figure 8) configured to urge debris towards a path of the fluid stream exiting the nozzle. The nozzle is secured to the chassis such that a longitudinal axis defined by the nozzle forms an acute angle with the longitudinal axis of the chassis. The device may include a fluid driven agitation device 80, such as a flexible ribbon or helically shaped blade. The fluid may be the stream exiting the nozzle which drives the agitation device. |
