PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route notification device which is improved in convenience and a navigation device.SOLUTION: In route notification processing, a plurality of routes from a departure place to a destination are generated on the basis of map data, the departure place of a self-vehicle, and the destination (S160). As for each of the plurality of routes, multiplicity α indicating the degree of coincidence with a representative route is derived (S190). When the multiplicity α is less than a regulated ratio Th (S200: NO), the pertinent route is defined as a residual route. Thus, when there exists any residual route (S240: YES), a new representative route is set from among the residual routes, and as for each of the residual routes, the multiplicity α is repeatedly derived, and a group is determined as for each residual route. When there does not exist any residual route (S240: NO), the representative route in each group is notified as a specific route (S250). |
