PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-B-Si-Mn-based amorphous alloy thin strip which is inexpensive and excellent in core loss characteristics.SOLUTION: An iron-based amorphous alloy thin strip includes component composition represented by chemical formula FeBSiMn(wherein x:75-87 at%, y: 6-15 at%, z: 7-17 at%, and a: 0.2-3 at%), and preferably includes one or more selected from 0.5 at% or less of Ni, 1 at% or less of Cr, 2 at% or less of C, 1 at% or less of P, and 2.0 at% or less of Cu as numbers included in the total, wherein skewness (Rsk) of a surface roughness curve in a surface which is in contact with a cooling roll is less than 0. |
