PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery state detector capable of detecting degradation in current measuring accuracy.SOLUTION: A secondary battery state detector, having a switch and a resistance element connected in series, includes: electric discharge means (an electric discharge circuit 15) discharging electric power stored in a secondary battery via the resistance element by turning on/off the switch; current measuring means (a current sensor 12) measuring a current flowing in the resistance element if the switch is turned on; storage means (a storage unit 10b) storing an element value of the resistance element in advance; estimating means (an arithmetic unit 10a) estimating a current flowing in the resistance element from a voltage of a secondary battery and the element value of the resistance element stored in the storage means if the switch is turned on; and determining means (the arithmetic unit 10a) determining that the current measuring means is abnormal if a value of the current estimated by the estimating means differs from a value of the current measured by the current measuring means by not less than a predetermined value. |
