PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine drive work machine capable of securing a sufficient generation amount of pure water.SOLUTION: The engine drive work machine 10 comprises a water generator 20 for generating pure water from a portion of raw water. The water generator 20 comprises: an outtake channel 76 in communication to a water pump 16; a condensation means 56 in communication to the outtake channel 76; and a return channel 79 in communication to the exit of condensation means 56. The outtake channel 76 is a channel capable of taking out, as cooling water, a portion of raw water taken in from raw water intake port 18 of water pump 16. The condensation means 56 has an outer enclosure 58 forming the outside of a condensation cover 55 and an inner enclosure 59 disposed in the inside of outer enclosure 58, and a space 68 is formed between outer enclosure 58 and inner enclosure 59, and they are configured such that they can guide the raw water introduced from the outtake channel 76 to the return channel 79. |
