PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of facilitating the imaging at a moment when water splashes.SOLUTION: An image data acquisition unit 11c acquires image data being contrast information, for example, in each part of an image captured by an imaging unit 12. A periodicity determination unit 11e identifies a part with a periodic change among the image data acquired by the image data acquisition unit 11c. A water level determination unit 11d identifies the position of a water level included in the image on the basis of the image data with a periodic change. An average value calculation unit 11f calculates the average value of the image data with a periodic change. A water splash detection unit 11g detects a dynamic body appearing upward from a water level and identifies the dynamic body as a water splash by performing comparison with the average value. |
