The invention relates to a device for removing long fibres from a fibrous suspension, comprising at least one rotor (1) having rotor blades (2), in which device a jet (3) of the fibrous suspension is directed onto the rotor blades (2) of the rotor (1), the direction of the jet forms an angle of less than 45° in conjunction with the axis of rotation (4), the rotor blades (2) have a blade edge (6) oriented in the direction of rotation (5), and collecting chambers (7) are arranged in the spinning region of the rotor blades (2) for the longer fibres that are spun off by the rotor blades (2). A most efficient rotor design should be achieved by ensuring that the surface covered by the rotor blades (2) is 3 to 15 times greater than the entire surface of all the rotor blades (2) in the rotation plane (8) and/or that the distance between the rotor blades (2) is 3 to 15 times greater than the width of the rotor blades in the rotation plane (8) over at least 50% of the radial extension of the rotor blades (2). |
