PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer having a wrap type wound core capable of performing insertion work of a magnetic steel sheet even when a gap between coils is small while eliminating deformation of the magnetic steel sheet, and capable of reducing core loss by reducing the number of wrap points.SOLUTION: The transformer includes: a coil; and wrap-type wound core. The wound core includes: an inner core which is formed of a one-turn cut type magnetic steel sheet disposed inside; and an outer core which is formed of a magnetic steel sheet having a U-like shape disposed outside. The lamination thickness of the one-turn cut type magnetic steel sheet is thicker than the lamination thickness of the U-like shaped magnetic steel sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
