PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system, video processing apparatus, and video processing method that are capable of detecting a range of gradation of a video signal.SOLUTION: A video processing apparatus comprises: a conversion unit that divides predetermined gradation into a plurality of sections, and converts a video signal input from an output apparatus to a color signal indicating a color allocated to each divided section; a display unit for displaying video indicated by the video signal converted to the color signal by the conversion unit; a color detection unit for detecting a color of the video displayed by the display unit; and a range detection unit for detecting, on the basis of the color detected by the detection unit, a range of gradation of the input video signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
