The solid oxide fuel cell apparatus of the present invention comprises: multiple fuel cells 16 mutually electrically connected to each other; an outside cylindrical member 66 for housing the multiple fuel cells 16; an oxidant gas supply flow path 22 for supplying oxidant gas to the fuel cells 16; a fuel gas supply flow path 20 for supplying fuel gas to the fuel cells 16; a reforming portion 94 for producing fuel gas by reforming raw fuel gas using steam; an evaporating portion 86 for producing steam supplied to the reforming portion 94; and a fuel gas supply pipe 90 for supplying water evaporated by the evaporating portion 86; wherein the evaporating portion 86 comprises a sloped plate 86a for dispersing water supplied from the fuel gas supply pipe 90 over the entire evaporating portion 86 using capillary action.
