PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe cutting device which can cut the straight pipe as a cut pipe into halves along the axial direction easily and surely by remote control.SOLUTION: The pipe cutting device consists of a pipe cutting device body 1 and a jack 2, where the pipe cutting device body 1 supports horizontally the apex of the pipe 4 to be cut and includes a support base 5 on which a support member 9 inserted into the apex of the pipe 4 is projected, a guide means 6 to be retracted into horizontally the jack 2 side by the jack 2, a cutting blade 7 which is horizontally fixed toward the jack 2 side at the rear end of the guide means 6, while the apex of a cutting blade 7 is put on the rear end of pipe 4 supported horizontally by the support base 5 and the pipe 4 is cut into halves by retracting the cutting blade 7 together with the guide means 6 into the jack 2 side using the jack 2. |
