PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head maintenance method in which maintenance of a mounting head can be easily executed in a short time.SOLUTION: A head maintenance method includes: a head maintenance apparatus installation step (Step ST 1) in which a head maintenance apparatus 40 is attached so as to be replaceable with a parts feeder 23 to a feeder base 22 being a holding section of the parts feeder 23; a mounting head moving step (Step ST 3) in which a mounting head 25 is moved above the head maintenance apparatus 40 by a head movement mechanism 24; and maintenance executing steps (Steps ST 4 to ST 16) in which maintenance is executed by the head maintenance apparatus 40 to a mounting head 25 which is moved above the head maintenance apparatus 40. |
