PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member that ensures high sealability while preventing a foreign matter from entering the seal part of the seal member, in a case of using the seal member alone.SOLUTION: In a seal member, a first annular recess fitted into a first component is provided on one surface, a second annular recess fitted into a second component is provided on another surface, and first and second press-fit margins are provided in the first and second annular recesses, respectively. When the seal member is used alone, a first protective cap provided with a first annular projection inserted into the first press-fit margin, and a second protective cap provided with a second annular projection inserted into the second press-fit margin are included. |
