<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording control unit, a recording control method, a program, and a data structure. <P>SOLUTION: The recording control unit is connected to a receiver having a reception function capable of receiving contents and a contents server capable of recording the contents via a network. The recording control unit comprises: a content information acquisition section for acquiring contents information; a contents information acquisition section for acquiring virtual contents information from the contents server by regarding an empty capacity for recording the contents as virtual contents; a contents selection section for selecting contents matching prescribed key information, based on the contents information; and a section for setting information to be recorded for setting the virtual contents information capable of recording the contents as the contents information to be recorded, based on the contents information selected by the contents selection section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
