<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an information providing method for increasing willingness to purchase merchandise in a specific store, and for contributing to sales promotion. <P>SOLUTION: This information providing server 10 accepts information related to merchandise from an information provider terminal 20, and stores it. An access code is given to the purchaser of merchandise in selling the merchandise. The information providing server 10 transmits information related to the merchandise in receiving an information browsing request using the access code from a consumer terminal 30.
