<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get rid of luminance spots on a radiating surface of a light guide plate, in a surface emitting device, wherein a plurality of light-emitting diodes serve as the light source. <P>SOLUTION: A reflection surface 21 of the light guide plate 2 has a row of grooves 3 along an incident surface 23; a shallow groove section 31a and a deep-groove section 31b are formed alternately on respective grooves 31, 31 of the row of grooves in the groove direction; the shallow groove section 31a is located at a portion where an optical axis L of the light source 4 crosses the groove 31; and the deep groove section 31b is located at a portion that corresponds to in-between the optical axes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
