The drive (1) has an electric motor (2) arranged in or on a housing. Electrical connection contacts are arranged at a terminal region for connecting the drive with external electric power supply cables. The housing has a first housing part (5A) connected with the electric motor and a second housing part (5B) exhibiting the contacts. First and second connection points (8A, 8B) are provided on the first housing part. The connection points and the second housing part are designed such that the second housing part is selectively or alternately connectable with the first or second points.
