Manufacture of nitrogenous polyvinyl derivatives

Nitrogenous polyvinyl derivatives are prepared by reacting a halogen alkylamine with a polyvinyl alcoholate. The products, which have an affinity for acid dyestuffs may be used for imparting to artificial fibres and other artificial products the property of being dyed with wool dyestuffs.
