<p>The method involves replacing a load by thrust force of a piston of a jack (3) supported on a part (4) of a lifting/weighing apparatus, where the part is directly connected with a surface or point supporting the load. The force, equal to a value displayed on a weight indicator of a load sensor (2) e.g. direct reading load sensor, is exerted by the jack supported on a frame (1). The frame is fixed at one of ends of the sensor by an upper plate (5) supported on the part. The sensor is fixed at a base of the jack by a lower plate (6). An independent claim is also included for a device for simulating a load on a lifting/weighing apparatus.</p> |
