PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in the structure of a conventional mechanical pencil, in which a chuck body is weakened by always tightening the chuck body with a ring to cause a load application state in the storage before product shipment, in a state of not holding a core, by biasing force of a chuck spring, a load is more applied to the chuck body and the chuck body is more weakened, and as a result, there is such a risk that the durability of the chuck body is lowered and a failure of delivering the core may be caused.SOLUTION: A mechanical pencil has a core tank for receiving cores, a chuck body for gripping/opening a core fixed at the front edge of the core tank, and a chuck ring for surrounding the front of the chuck body and for opening and closing the chuck body. The mechanical pencil has a shaft cylinder disposed so as to enclose at least the front of the core tank, and the chuck body and the chuck ring. The shaft cylinder is detachably screwed with the core tank. |
