PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low basis weight printing paper with high degree of whiteness and high opacity.SOLUTION: The printing paper contains purple pigment and/or blue pigment and has an opacity of 85% or more. The basis weight of the printing paper is 70 g/mor below, and the avalue and the bvalue of the hue of the paper measured by JIS P 8150 method are 0 or above but below 7, and -15 or more but less than -3, respectively, measured including the ultraviolet. |
