PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to securing of pedestrian head protection performance.SOLUTION: A vehicular pop-up hood device 10 is configured so that, when an ECU 90 detects collision with a pedestrian, left and right front end lifting parts 24F and left and right rear end lifting parts 24R set on a hood inner panel 24 are lifted up by a hood lifting device 16, and a hood 14 is raised. During raising of the hood 14, a longitudinal direction intermediate part of the hood 14 is going to deform and bend downwards by inertia, but left and right reinforcements 18 fixed to vehicle width direction both end parts of the hood inner panel 24 can suppress the bending and deformation. Therefore, delay of lifting of the hood 14 is prevented, and vibration of the hood 14 is suppressed. In addition, the hood 14 does not have a structure that whole body of the hood 14 is reinforced, therefore deterioration of impact absorption performance of the hood 14 when a head of the pedestrian collides to the hood 14 can be suppressed. |
