Provided is an optical wireless system that maintains communication quality at a prescribed quality in optical wireless communication, even when transmission quality changes due to changes over time, environmental factors or usage conditions such as the surface of an optical lens or a propagation space through which optical signals are propagated, and the like. A system that transmits various kinds of information regarding mounting work of electronic components on substrates in an electronic component mounting apparatus (10) converts an optical signal to an electrical signal (RD) using a light receiving/transmitting unit (3A). A level detector (3B) detects the voltage level of the converted electrical signal (RD), and preconfigures parameters for switching an error correction method to a prescribed error correction method in response to a decrease in the voltage level. Moreover, the level detector (3B) switches to a preconfigured error correction method in response to a decrease in the voltage level being detected. |
