<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform gradation correction which the amount of correction of a low brightness part is larger than that of a high brightness part, and when a large amount of the correction is made, to perform gradation correction avoiding deterioration of contrast. <P>SOLUTION: A controlling part controls a weighting processing part so that contribution of a blurred image generated from a reduced image becomes higher than contribution of a blurred image generated from a reduced image with lower resolution. It also controls the weighting processing part according to the brightness correction levels, so that the larger the amount of correction toward a brighter direction of a dark part brightness, the larger contribution of a blurred image generated from a reduced image becomes to contribution of a blurred image generated from a reduced image with lower resolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
