摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the stability of a control system to allow shake correction of high image blur correction performance even in the case that an image blur correction lens is driven in the vicinity of a control end beyond a controllable range to vary characteristics of the control system.SOLUTION: A shake correction member is provided which is moved within a range preliminarily determined in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis or parallel with the optical axis to reduce an image blur during photographing. A shake is detected and a target position of the shake correction member is determined in accordance with the detected shake, and the position of the shake correction member is detected, and a feedback control is performed so that the position of the shake correction member is converged to the target position. The feedback control is switchable between a first control method having high control stability for controlled oscillation and a second control method having a higher follow-up characteristic than the first control method but having low control stability for controlled oscillation, and the first control method is switched to the second control method when the position of the shake correction member is within the preliminarily determined range or is unlikely to approach its end.
