摘要 The present invention relates to a method for producing polyether sulfone in which a dihalogenodiphenyl sulfone and bisphenols undergo a polycondensation reaction in a polymerization tank in the presence of an alkali metal salt in a first solvent, and the polymer is removed from the polymerization tank at a point in time where the polymer in the polymerization tank has reached a predetermined viscosity, the method being characterized in that as the polycondensation reaction progresses, a second solvent is added and stirred in at the point in time when the polymer in the polymerization tank reaches the predetermined viscosity, and also the stirring is stopped within T × 0.25 (a duration of time) (where T is the total duration of time from the start of removal until the end) from the start of the removal of the polymer from the polymerization tank. The polyether sulfone obtained by this method of production can be used in a broad range of applications not limited to membranes for artificial dialysis, but also including electrical and electronic components, automobiles, medicines, food products, coating materials, and the like.
