PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw capable of reducing sliding resistance in fitting a male member to a seal material while effectively suppressing intrusion of fine foreign matters between the male member and a female member.SOLUTION: A ball screw includes a male member 2 having a male groove 7, a female member 3 having an inner peripheral face provided with a female groove 12, and further provided with a circulating passage 13 capable of circulating balls, and a seal material disposed on one end portion or/and the other end portion in the axial direction of the female member, and the male member and the female member are axially fitted to each other. The seal material 4 includes a fiber layer 14 having a hole 14a communicatable with an inner peripheral face of the female member 3, and an inner peripheral face 14b provided with a projecting portion 14c fittable to the male groove 7, and composed of fiber impregnated with rubber or resin, a resin layer 15 stacked on a face 14d on an opposite side of the hole 14a, of the fiber layer 14, and a resin layer 17 having water-repellency or oil-repellency, and stacked on a surface of the fiber layer 14. |
