PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump hot water storage type water heater which contributes to leveling of power demand between night and day, and solving or alleviating the power demand peak in the morning.SOLUTION: The heat pump hot water storage type water heater includes: target heat amount calculation means 452 for calculating a target heat amount of the next day by learning a used heat amount up to the previous day; boiling start time calculation means 453 for calculating boiling start time so that the boiling of the target heat amount can be completed by boiling time zone completion time; and early completion setting means 455 for setting a boiling completion target time going back for predetermined time from the boiling time zone completion time by automatic or manual setting. When the boiling completion target time is set by the early completion setting means 455, the boiling start time calculation means 453 calculates the boiling start time so as to complete the boiling of the target heat amount by the boiling completion target time, and when the boiling of the target heat amount cannot be completed by the boiling completion target time, it continues the boiling until the boiling time zone completion time. |
