PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard instrument capable of efficiently and excellently radiating a sound of a loudspeaker.SOLUTION: The keyboard instrument includes a musical instrument case 1, a keyboard part 10 which is arranged in the musical instrument case 1 and exposed from a front upper part of the musical instrument case 1, a loudspeaker 26 which is arranged in the musical instrument case 1 behind the keyboard part 10, a second sound radiation hole 28 which is provided in a rear top plate 8 of the musical instrument case 8, and radiates a sound generated by the loudspeaker 26, a sound radiation lid 30 which closes the second sound radiation hole 28 in an openable state, and an opening selection part 31 which opens the musical instrument case 1 selectively in front/rear directions while holding the sound radiation lid 30 on the musical instrument case 1. Therefore, the opening selection part 31 can open the sound radiation lid 30 closing the second sound radiation hole 28 to one of the front/rear directions of the musical instrument case 1, so a sound of the loudspeaker 26 can be radiated selectively to one of the front side and rear side directions of the musical instrument case 1. |
