JOINING METHOD BETWEEN MECHANICALLY OR CHEMICALLY TREATED BE AND CU ALLOY

A joining method of mechanically or chemically treated Be and Cu alloy is provided to be usefully applied to shielding parts of a first barrier guarding of a nuclear fusion reactor that requires bonding properties of the Be and the Cu alloy even in the high temperature thermal cycle environment by suppressing oxidation of Be and relieving the stress difference generated during joining at the same time. A joining method of mechanically or chemically treated Be and Cu alloy comprises: a first step of mechanically or chemically treating a surface of Be(1) to vary surface roughness of Be; a second step of forming a diffusion inhibition layer(2) on the Be surface treated in the first step; a third step of adding 0.1 to 5 wt.% of a diffusion inhibition layer material into a bonding promotion layer(3) material to form a bonding promotion layer on the diffusion inhibition layer of Be formed in the second step; and a fourth step of joining the Be having the bonding promotion layer formed thereon of the third step with a Cu alloy(4).
