PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of marking on optical fiber quickly and with high visibility.SOLUTION: The printer includes: an ink tank 1 for storing ink; a scraping up roll 2 for scraping up ink I from inside the ink tank 1; a printing roll 3 capable of being loaded with the ink I passed by the scraping up roll 2, provided with printing patterns 31-36 having mesh sizes of 75 mesh-150 mesh, and for transferring the ink I loaded in the printing patterns 31-36 to an optical fiber 5; and a doctor blade 4 for pushing the ink I into the printing patterns 31-36, and scraping off extra ink I adhering to a surface of the printing roll 3. |
