The present invention relates to a compressor comprising a cylinder (2, 2a) inside of which, there is formed a compression chamber, and a connecting pipe (12) that is attached to the cylinder (2a, 2b) and is connected with the compression chamber. The cylinder (2a, 2b) has a through-hole (11a) of oval cross section, which extends from the cylinder (2a, 2b) side to the compression chamber and the longitudinal direction of which is in the cylinder (2a, 2b) circumferential direction. At least one end of the connecting pipe (12) is formed in the oval cross section, and the other end is fastened by means of press fit in the through-hole (11a) with press fit overlap amounting to 0.05 mm or less, so that the connecting pipe (12) is connected with the compression chamber.
