A polarizer plate and a fabrication method of an LCD are provided to remove a process of separating of an entire protection film in assembly with a top case and a process of attaching a second protection film by mounting a protection film with a cutting line to a liquid crystal panel. A liquid crystal panel includes an active area and a dummy area along a boundary of the active area. A polarizer plate is attached to both surfaces of the liquid crystal panel to polarize light transmitted to the liquid crystal panel. A protection film(300) is attached to one surface of the polarizer plate and includes a cutting line(301). The cutting line of the protection film is formed along an outer edge of the active area of the panel. The cutting line of the protection film divides the dummy area of the protection film into a plurality of areas.
