PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polypeptide having excellent angiogenesis-inducing activity and antibacterial activity, and an angiogenesis inducing agent containing the novel polypeptide.SOLUTION: The polypeptide is composed of a specific amino acid sequence. The polypeptide is effective in prevention/amelioration/treatment of diseases such as burns, decubitus, wounds, skin ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and ulcers caused by occlusive arterial diseases, arteriosclerosis obliterans and the like. The polypeptide is also effective as antibacterial agent in prevention/amelioration/treatment of diseases such as burns, decubitus, wounds, skin ulcers, leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers. |
