Provided is a rotating machine including a stator that can have a small structure. A resin-molded stator 20 of the rotating machine includes a stator core 21, a coil, a terminal 50, and a molded section 60. The stator core 21 is formed by laminating steel plates. The coil is provided on the stator core 21. The terminal 50 is connected to a drawn-out wire section on the end of a conductor forming the coil and a lead wire. The molded section 60 covers a coil end section near one end face of the stator core 21 in a lamination direction. A part of the terminal 50 connected near the one end face of the stator core 21 to the drawn-out wire section is included in the molded section 60. An external connection part 51 connected to the lead wire is protruded from the molded section 60 toward a rotating shaft (shaft) 18 of a rotor 12 of the rotating machine. |
