The purpose of the present invention is obtaining a connector that can increase the mating force between a socket and header and obtaining a socket and header used in that connector. A connector (C) is provided with a socket (10) having a socket main body (11), in which are disposed contacts (12) and socket side holding metal members (30), and a header (20) having a header main body (21), in which are disposed posts (22) and header side holding metal members (40). Further provided is a locking mechanism for holding the socket (10) and header (20) in a mated state in the socket side metal holding members (30) and header side holding members (40). |
