In a hot water generator, the second connection port 52 is placed at a location higher than the first connection port 51, the first heat exchanger 22 is placed at a location lower than the first connection port 51 in the vertical direction, a suction port 54a and a discharge port 54b of the pump 54 are placed at height which is equal to or higher than the first connection port 51 and which is equal to or lower than the second connection port 52, and the first heat exchanger 22 and the pump 54 are accommodated in the outer covering body. Therefore, the hot water generator is downsized, and maintenance operability of the hot water generator can be enhanced. |
