<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent radio waves from being stopped while reading a wireless data carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A first wireless communication device 3A transmits radio waves from first antennas 7A-1 to 7A-4 in accordance with a read command from a host device 4, transmits/receives data to/from a wireless data carrier 10, transmits the data transmitted/received to/from the wireless data carrier to a second wireless communication device 3B, and, when the radio wave transmission time becomes the set time period less than the time limit, sends a device switching command to the second wireless communication device 3B. The second wireless communication device 3B stores the state of the first wireless communication device 3A based on the data sent from the first wireless communication device 3A, transmits radio waves from second antennas 7B-1 to 7B-4 when it receives the device switching command from the first wireless communication device 3A, takes over the stored state of the first wireless communication device 3A, and transmits/receives the data to/from the wireless data carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
