PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a secondary battery that reconciles suppression of increase in electrical resistance and improvement in peel strength.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a secondary battery performs the step of applying a binder solution A in a pattern to a surface of each collector 31, 41 to form each coated portion 31a, 31b, 41a, 41b, and the step of supplying a powder B including a mix particle onto the surface of each collector 31, 41 and the binder solution A to form each mix layer 32, 42. In the step of forming each coated portion 31a, 31b, 41a, 41b, in areas within both width end portions of each mix layer 32, 42, the binder solution A is continuously applied to form both end coated portions 31a, 41a continuous longitudinally of each mix layer 32, 42, and in an area within both width end portions of each mix layer 32, 42, the binder solution A is partly applied to form the inner coated portions 31b, 41b and form each uncoated portion 31c, 41c as an area with no coated portions 31a, 31b, 41a, 41b formed. |
