PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform separation processing of selenium from exhaust gas containing a sulfur compound and to continuously perform recovery processing of the separated selenium.SOLUTION: Exhaust gas introduced in a cooling part 2 is cooled to equal to or higher than a melting point of selenium and equal to or lower than formation temperature of a sulfate component, introduced in a neutralization treatment part 3, and neutralization treatment is performed. The exhaust gas derived from the neutralization treatment part 3 is introduced in a dust collection treatment part 4, and gas-solid separation treatment is performed. A solid component derived from the dust collection treatment part 4 is taken out as the sulfate component which is a main component. The exhaust gas derived from the dust collection treatment part 4 is introduced in a dust collection treatment part 6 by an exhauster 5, fine dust is further collected, and the gas-solid separation treatment is performed. The solid component derived from the dust collection part 6 is taken out as the sulfate component which is the main component. The exhaust gas derived from the dust collection treatment part 6 is introduced in a chimney 7, and the contained selenium is taken out in a selenium recovery part 8. |
