PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe moving device capable of moving inside a pipe having a branch part, a bent part, an irregularity, a portion where the inner diameter greatly changes, etc. and an in-pipe moving device insertion method.SOLUTION: The in-pipe moving device comprises: a cylindrical guide jig; an operation mechanism for operating movement of the front end of the guide jig; and an insertion rod to be inserted into the guide jig. The guide jig has a first guide hose, a hose tip part at the front end of the first guide hose and multiple wires along the first guide hose. The in-pipe moving device insertion method to insert the in-pipe moving device having the cylindrical guide jig whose front end bends and the insertion rod which can be inserted into the guide jig comprises the steps of: inserting the guide hose in a pipe; bending the front end of the guide hose; and delivering the insertion rod from the inside of the guide hose. |
